[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze was resting before he heard the cry come the small cat. he perked his ears up, as if they were his eyes. 'fox', they told him, 'danger'. he jumped up, now fully alert. he left his spot under the bush that was the warrior's den, scanning the area for the source of the warning. he watched as whitepaw ran out of the clan's camp, into the forest. he quickly followed his path, keeping himself alert for anymore warning. he sniffed the air, a familiar stench hitting his nose. there really way a fox, and there was blood. his heart skipped a beat. someone was in danger. he followed the waft to it's source, the fox and the injured apprentice, along with other young apprentices.

"stay back! one of you being injured is already enough!" he hissed, arching his back to intimidate the fox.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze was sitting in the sun, relaxing and soaking up the sun's rays. his resting was then interrupted by the words "hunting patrol", which spiked his interest. he had noticed the fresh kill pile was becoming a bit bare earlier that day, something a hunting patrol could easily fix. he rose from his spot in the sun, stretching himself out and yawing. he gave a small shake before making his way over to olivebranch. "oh, a hunting patrol? that sounds like fun to me. i'm in." he purred, his ears twitching ever so slightly. he hoped the prey would be out and about, as the weather was beginning to get warmer and that held promises.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]the warrior had been out searching for something to bring back to camp, having no luck so far. willowbreeze gave a small shiver, the chilling wind brushing against his thick pelt. typically, he didn't get very cold, but today was oddly freezing for him. he shook the thought out of his head, returning to his previous task. he gave the air a small sniff, the scent of a warrior hitting his nose. he was confused, as he thought he would be the only one out this early. he gave another sniff, recognizing a more familiar scent. he grew worrisome, was there an unknown cat in thunderclan territory? determined to find out, he quietly followed the smell, making sure to be as sneaky as possible. as he grew close, he peered through the bramble he was behind. he saw the petite cat, mouse in hand. he then realized this was no enemy, but another clanmate. she was new, which was why he did not recognize her scent. he watched as an additional cat joined the scene, the smaller feline throwing the mouse into the bramble. he watched as it landed next to him, unmoving. he picked it up, popping his head from behind the bramble. "i believe this is your mouse." he purred, his ears twitching.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze was pulled from his focus at the sound of a new voice. he looked over, a visibly shaken warrior was beside him. his ears again perked up, acting as his eyes again. 'kit', they told him. he turned his attention to the kit, thinking of a plan. there was no time for planning, he must listen to his heart now. he lowered himself before pushign himself off the ground, grabbing whitrepaw from the fox's back as he tackled the fox at the same time. he gently tossed the apprentice away, attempting to pin the fox. "take the kit and run! run and don't look back! now!" he yowled, struggling with the trashing fox beneath his grip.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]as willowbreeze was waiting, he had glanced around the camp looking to see if anyone else would join the patrol. he noticed spottedfern enter the clearing, how sad she looked she couldn't join the patrol. he quickly made his way to her. "hello, spottedfern. are you feeling well? do you want me to bring you back a mouse?" he asked, attempting to make the healing she-cat feel better. he hated seeing his clanmates sad, he tried his best to help as he could.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze continued his grip on the fox, holding it down so he could get a good bite into it. the vixen was becoming weaker, willow could tell by the amount of blood on him and the ground that held a stentch of fox. he dug his fangs into the back of the fox's neck, gaining a gurgled yelp from the fox's mouth. he suddenly felt another weight next to him, willow flicking his eyes to the source of the weight. there was stagspirit, attacking the fox as well. he took a mental note to thank them later when this was over. the fox had stopped struggling, most likely on the edge of death. willow released his grip on the fox, taking a step back. he stared at the fox for a moment before bringing his gaze back to stag. "you alright? it didn't hurt you, did it?" his voice cracked with worry, he hoped no one else was injured.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze returned the smile. "just rest up and worry about being better, alright?" he purred. he bowed his head before bounding off after mousepaw. "hey, i'm coming!"
    [center]

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]again, today was freezing. willowbreeze was shocked by the weather, it never gets this cold. his thick fur always protects him from the harsh winds of leaf-bare, but this time around it was colder than he ever remembered it being. one thing that worried him was that is was almost newleaf, and the weather had not eased up for them. this could mean less fresh kill for the clan, which could lead to many issues. willowbreeze sighed and turned his gaze to the sky, watching the clouds move slowly across the blue horizon. he often got lost, watching the sky. his mind tended to wander about on slow days like these, he'd just sit and watch the sky or watch the leaves in the trees move with the wind. though often distracted, it did not affect his ability as a warrior. he was strong and skillful for a young warrior, his sole purpose being the protection of his clan.

willowbreeze pulled himself from his thoughts. again, he had lost himself in thinking. he quietly cursed himself for being so scatterbrained. he stretched his body, yawning. he needed to be productive, do something the clan needs. he pondered on ideas, one idea sounding better than the other and then another sounds better than that one. he shook his head, cursing himself again. he gave a small sigh, looking back at the sky. maybe he should just wander around until he was called upon. he decided that would be the best idea, as he didn't want to do something unneeded and cause trouble instead of helping.

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]@STAGSPIRIT. here is the thread! when you were young // private, stag
    [center]

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze followed along, giving a small gasp. "oh no! i have to get something good to bring back to spottedfern! i promised! what kind of warrior would i be if i brought back something gross, huh?" he nudged the apprentice's side teasingly.
    [center]

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze purred, amused by his conversation with the younger feline. "i'll make sure to bring her the biggest and juiciest mouse i can find!" he stated, holding his head high. out of the corner of his eye he spotted branchpaw coming closer. he lowered his head to greet the other apprentice before mousepaw spoke up again. "ooo, i'd love to see that. if you catch one, promise me you'll share it, alright?"
    [center]

[center][fancypost=bgcolor;borderwidth=0px;bordercolor=;text-align:justify;width:400px;]willowbreeze nodded to dovepaw, agreeing silently. his lifted his head again, sniffing the air. he smelt mouse, but it seemed that someone else already had. he watched the apprentice, not much younger than him, attack the mouse and bring it down successfully. "hmm, seems so. keep it up, dovepaw." he gave a small nod before going back to his own hunt. he continued to survey the area with his nose, attempting to pick up a strong stench. when he finally did, he scanned the area for the mouse he located with his nose. his eyes then picked up a plump mouse not too far from him, chewing on some kind of seed. he lowered his body to the ground, creeping ever so carefully behind the mouse. he waited for the mouse to dig back into his meal, and grabbed it. he pinned it to the ground, killing it in one fell swoop.
